Mjölnir Roleplay

Welcome to Mjölnir RP

We play here to have fun, create stories, and share adventures together. This is a roleplay server — you should think and act as if your character were a real person.

These rules exist so everyone feels safe and RP stays fair and enjoyable.

Punishment

Breaking the rules may result in a warning, a temporary ban, or permanent removal from the server.

Staff

Report a player

If someone breaks the rules, go to #🎫｜tickets → Report user on Discord.

  • Staff may investigate without a report if they see or hear about a violation.
  • Staff may interpret situations and decide what is correct in the scene.
It is not your job to punish other players. If something goes wrong → tell staff.

Basics

General rules

Microphone

You need a working, clear mic so others can hear you.

Your character

Realistic names — no symbols or random characters.

Respect

Don’t be toxic — in-game, on Discord, or on Twitch.

Terms

Always follow Discord and Twitch terms of service.

IC

Roleplay rules

  • Stay in character — even if someone breaks the rules. Finish the scene, then report.
  • Do not try to bait others into breaking rules.
  • OOC only for technical issues or scuff.

Glossary

Common violations explained

FailRP

Not playing your role in a realistic way.

Example Respawning to escape an arrest.

Powercuffing

Abusing handcuffs — spam-clicking or grabbing someone with no RP.

Example Cuffing someone instantly with no IC interaction.

Metagaming

Using out-of-character (OOC) info inside the game (IC).

Example Using Discord/Twitch to know where people are.

NVL

Showing no regard for your own life.

Example Three guns on you and you still run or start shooting.

NLR

When you die → you do not remember what happened.

Example You respawn and immediately confront the people who killed you.

VDM

Using a vehicle as a weapon without IC reason.

Example Intentionally running over a civilian just to kill them.

RDM

Killing without IC reason or story.

Example Shooting a stranger just because you feel like it.

Crime RP

Crime & violence

  • Robberies and threats need a clear RP reason.
  • Handcuffs may only be used if the other person has surrendered, is downed, or tazed.
  • Major heists (banks, jewelry, etc.) need a plan — not copy-paste every time.
  • Don’t commit crime just for profit — it must be part of the story.

Gangs

Gangs & gang wars

4-man rule

  • In conflicts between gangs, the four-man rule applies.
  • Each gang may only have 4 active members involved (shooting, chasing, intervening).
  • You may not call in more members after the scene starts — swaps are not allowed.
  • More than 4? Agree IC (gang leaders) + a ticket approved by staff.
  • If a gang is defending its own home/turf → more than 4 is allowed.

Downed

  • If you are downed, your part in that scene is over.
  • Even if EMS revives you or you respawn during — you may not return to the same scene.

KOS (Kill on Sight)

  • KOS must be approved both IC and OOC.
  • It must be logged (e.g. in a ticket) so staff can confirm it.
NOTE

Being in a gang does not justify RDM/VDM. You always need a valid reason to attack someone.

Member limit

Gangs may have 4–8 members max to keep the server balanced.

Story & goals

Gangs need a story and purpose — not just “shoot and rob” RP.

Police response

  • Police are notified and observe for the first 15–30 minutes (logging, gathering evidence).
  • After that they may move in and arrest — not “just shoot”. They must announce themselves to pause the scene before intervening.
  • Jail time after these fights should be reasonable (5–10 min).

Staff

  • Staff may intervene anytime if a gang breaks rules or ruins RP.
  • They may disband gangs, remove weapons, or apply other measures.
